(via Turntablelab) Wired’s “Best Mobile Gizmo” of 2008. Chill Pill speakers are highly portable, pocket-sized speakers that can be transported in “pill” form (ingeniously held together by magnets). When you want to play music, simply pull apart the pill and untwist the tops to release the mini-subwoofers. In addition, all the needed cords (stereo plug, USB input) are built into the speakers with their own coil system.
For its size, the Chill Pill offers loud and clear sound. I plugged in my iPhone and the sound filled a medium sized room. The manufacturer boasts that the quality of the sound is better than standard desktop computer speakers. The Chill Pill also expands to reveal mini-subwoofers for enhanced bass.
The Chill Pill is powered by a rechargeable battery. You can recharge them either by plugging them into your computer’s USB port or the power adaptor (sold separately).

These Wolvie 59Fifty fitteds are available at LIDS.com. Marvel is very hit and miss with their fitteds (depending on your taste), but with the Wolverine fitteds you’ll find better designs. New Era released a new Wolvie fitted (not sold at Lids), but I’m not going to blow up spots! Find that one yourself (if you know what i’m talking about).
Speaking of which, DC Comics gets the FAIL stamp for not releasing official WATCHMEN fitteds. So many opportunities for clever designs with different fabrics. Sorry Alan Moore, but it’s true.

The Town is a West Coast town with East coast weather, LOL. Hip Hop thrives there with Vita’s Beat Battles, you got cats like Jake One & BeanOne on beats, there’s writer crews, dancers, bboys, MCs like Oldominion, A-Son & D. Black that I love, also Blue Scholars hold it down. That Music Museum is dope that’s for sure. The town appreciates passion & cats who stick to what they’re doing. I’m sure it’s changed a little bit, mainly in that all the above mentioned cats are way more famous than 5 years ago.
