The hat is fresh, but I hate the Spurs. Same situation as the Yankees…I like the NY logo, but I hate the Yanks. Go figure….

this hat falls into my personal category of fitteds that get “the pass”. i don’t really like the spurs now, but i was a fan of the early david robinson era spurs (or maybe i was just a david robinson fan). the hat also gets the pass because of its previous notoriety as a rare fitted (OG versions had a white inner headband, green underbill and old school new era logo on the inside tag). now that there’s a re-issue, well, you know.

im not much of a fan of the yanks (i hate boston more), but the one NY fitted i do have is the classic dark blue with the logo, green underbill, and instead of the new era flag, it says “1977 World Series”. it’s very old school looking, plus it has the year i was born on it. AND it can’t be bought in any store. but other than that, i would never get any other NY yankees hat…cuz everyone on the face of this earth owns one or two yankee hats. that’s why i’ve bought more Mets hats throughout the years.

they should release the Sonics new era with the red and gold logo, the one we had when they went to the finals against MJ and the Bulls.

i wore a snapback version of that hat it was black with the new logo, white sweatband and all green bill. those types of hats get dirty hella fast.
